I was born and raised in Georgia. During my studies in Tbilisi, I helped my parents in our family business. Since then, I have been fascinated by the idea of starting a business, so in addition to my regular job, I am also an entrepreneur. I am particularly interested in how women build and shape their independence despite various barriers. That is why I have decided to scientifically examine this topic and have been researching Women’s Entrepreneurship since 2019. I know how important professional networks are for (female) entrepreneurs, especially if they have just moved to Berlin/Germany and do not have any connections. It is even more difficult to build a business if German is not your native language. Which is why I specifically support immigrant women in Berlin in their professional and personal development. I love Berlin’s diversity and the opportunity to meet many different people on an equal footing. That is why I am strongly committed to diversity, both in my professional and private life.
